SO, let’s talk about holiday food ideas. I already know what kind of food I’ll be eating: pizza, french fries, and eggnog. What? What is that wrong? I’m pretty affluent in holiday meal preparation. It’s easy, just through a pizza in the oven, eat some ketchup with some fries, and then when the pizza is done, just pull it out and use eggnog as a dipping sauce. What?

I’m sorry, but no. You could NEVER not have a light on and/or be drunk in this house. You would perish within seconds of your 3rd shot of Jameson. Parties, children, plump kitties? Forget it. This house is goddam death trap. It’s like the architect was watching only Lars Von Trier films during his entire creative process…Natural linear and geometric beauty meets the stark reality of a world where darkness must not be allowed to exist, yet must…and inevitably will…ja ja, det er storslået!

I’m rather afraid of missing information, being misinformed, or not being able to find a way out of the woods when the temperature is dropping rapidly and the sun is almost gone and someone is following you. That has actually happened to me before. It was scary.

I think another serious fear of mine is being eaten alive by a wild animal. I don’t think it would be anything but terrifying, as it ripped away at your face, hands, legs, and neck until you just succumbed to the exhaustive efforts of staying alive. Exsanguination although typically fast, can in this instance, be a real bitch.

In conjunction with fighting for your life, not being properly prepared is such a bummer. I would think that right before an attack, you would just hope that for some reason you packed the real knife and not the pretend sparring knife that is in today’s society considered an act of holy war against the holy government.

Oh my god. You see, this is exactly what I’m talking about. Why are you walking around in the snow, trying to find dry, warmish land and a bowl full of vegan chili? No hat? Only your sister’s Herschel backpack, and matching sleeping bag eh? Goddam this is going to end bad.

Google Trends on Eggnog, Cider, and Mulled Wine.

I think it’s safe to say, that mulled wine and eggnog are on the menu for the next few weeks. But not now, oh god not now…I had the whiskey shakes all too recently… In my “hangover” moments, I typically need to disappear into a hidden, dark secret place, I like to call Under The Covers.

Oh Kurt…I can certainly believe it. Happens roughly every 16 minutes in Austin. During my lunch hour, I like to think what if this man lived into his retirement age? The holidays are here, and there is much to do!! But it’s hard not to think that so much product is being moved all across the world as I type these very words. So much energy goes into making this season a reality of the “blessed”. If an alien civilization looked in upon us, I’m sure they’d have some difficulty in separating our praising the birth of a GOD to buying an incredible amount of shit. I think the holidays should reflect our attitudes towards progress and life, “Heeeey, you still have a job, and you’re coming down on your student loans — here’s a winter-gift in celebration of your ongoing achievements!” THANKS DAD!

I haven’t had a pet in a really long time, and I think it’s probably about time to change that. While I’d love to have a dog, preferably and grey wolf pup, I am for financial and housing reasons going to postpone that idea and instead gather up the little neighborhood pear-shaped Christmas ham-cat we call Catz. (NOTE: Looks nothing like the above pictured cat.)

Of late, I’ve been giving a lot of thought to writing a book/expanding on my thesis. I guess it has more to do with the fact that in a couple of short months, we’ll finally have our own place, and be able to set up our studio. This excites me, and inspires me to think of character development with a quantitative approach.

Possible book titles: Lexikalische Gebäck und schlechtem Kaffee. This book would be about the disillusioned pastry industry in a twilight-zonish modern day socialist East Germany. Another book title: Rire et mourir: Le rythme des rêves et des cauchemars. This book concerns the virtues of traveling dream masters, and the debate between peripheral realities in the presence of the newly found Higgs Boson.

A part of me wonders what it would be like to wear this helmet on a daily basis. Like to the office, to Beauty Bar on a Friday night while Feathers plays in the background, to HEB whilst picking up toothpaste and yogurt, or while looking for parking downtown–only to realize that parking downtown blows, which means that parking on the east side is the only option… I bet your chances of being mugged would be reduced, and even more so if you carried a truncheon shaped like a unicorn’s penis.

On  an unrelated note: I’ve never tried using magnets or crystals to cure my aches and pains. But many people claim that they work to cure the body of such ailments. I don’t know, what do you think? Science says that there is no evidence, but what about everyone else? When it comes to certain areas of life, science is not exactly the best route for decision-making. However, if the poor man’s cure happens to be the oracle-blessed magnetized crystal he carries around in a satchel stained with sandalwood, then so be it. I’ll take two.

Blade Runner is one of my favorite films of all times. A lot of people think it’s utter crap. But let me tell you something: No it’s not. However, there is an age-gap here. When I got the film at the ripe age of 8, I watched it and found it incredibly dull. But I was horribly stupid at that age, and now I can appreciate every bit of detail in the film, as I have in the book.

And I always found the pairing between Sean Young and Harrison Ford to be especially warm. I’m not sure if it’s my curiosity towards artificial intelligence one day obtaining awareness, or if I just like the way they look together, or both — it’s nice. And that’s all I have to say on that.

..seems a bit much to me. It’s heroic and sublime. Hemingway the Hunter would be impressed – MOVED – by this optional advance in today’s economic climate. I think Carl Jung speaks of this at some point…what/where is the symbolism?! Where is Jung.

There are times where I’ll catch myself in thought, wondering, Why didn’t I invest in Google? There’s absolutely nothing I can do about that now, but I still think about it. Rather lovingly too… Perhaps, I could have doubled my investments at this point, really played the market, developed my portfolio…

Soon I will be gone from laptop computers, Facebook, and all of the above. I will be camping and traveling the far corners of West Texas, (not to be confused with West, Texas the town); in what I call WTXRT.2K11. It will be amazing. It will be adventurous.

Big Bend, Balmorhea Springs, McDonald Observatory… I’ve always wanted to visit the observatory, known across the great state of Texas as a beacon of interstellar curiosity and astronomical intrigue.

We’re also going to visit the mysterious “Marfa Swamp Gas“. I for one believe in genetically advanced outer-space beings, and am actually quite excited to finally be able to meet them.

Hell yeah, it’s gonna be great to explore their ships, shops, and intergalactic wisdoms. I wonder, NOW I wonder, if they would like BBQ, michelades, Texas Toast, and/or breakfast tacos. You just never know these days, what with the rampant healthy dieting half-lord-of-the-fishes yoga-folk, who can be seen planting green pastures of spirit touches into your life…

We’re all really sort of headed in this direction anyhow…which is great……..
