Trampoline Breath

Over the course of the last 5 years, I’ve been investing deeply in the idea that a long American road trip is what I need to bridge my sanity with my love of landscape and color. It’s been something that I might do on my motorcycle, or maybe I’ll go across the country in a car… Whichever manner I decide to use (probably the motorcycle), I hope to get there before 30 — with or without a sidekick.

I don’t know… the last year has been pretty amazing with a lot of intensity thrown in the middle, which is just how I like it of course (this will be covered in the December 09 Post); but a nice relaxing escape from the clutches of my professors is something that I’ve been meaning to address. I mean, I’m all for drinking when appropriate, but last Thursday’s shenanigans of drinking 3 tall boys after taking a bio exam — then returning to a later class — Christ, I’m no longer a reckless youth!!

This month will prove to be as haunting as it should. I’m actually quite excited to see how the BIG ASS show is going to play out this Friday. Our band, is scheduled to play this thing called a Zombie Ball. I’m really excited because it basically means I can eat people’s faces off. And get away with it.

I spend a lot of time wondering about the end of the world. What it will be like, how it will happen, and how the hell I am going to survive when it does happen. Some important questions: how to find the necessary minerals (calcium and iron), and vitamins (both lipid and water soluble)? how to hunt? how to run away from cannibals? These are some of the questions that keep me up at night.

You know, I’m not at all bothered by the whole wearing-makeup-to-bed thing, really, it was just an observation. Sometimes, I wear makeup to bed! A lie, but one that helps Me understand You. And I like your take on micro-blogging, and also how you make phonetic transcriptions of voiced palatal nasals look so.. ‘otherworldly’.
